County-Wide Training Facility

  • Our Department has also been very active in working with all the other emergency services to get a county wide training facility up and going. We have formed the Roane County Emergency Services Association (RCESA). This association includes:
    • Law enforcement agencies from all the cities and county
    • EMS
    • the Roane County Rescue Squad
    • County and City Fire Departments, and
    • the Roane County Emergency Management Agency (RCEMA).
  • The City of Harriman has provided us with a building, the former National Guard Building, that will make an excellent facility for the new association. The main function of this facility is for the training of all emergency agencies. Work has already started.
