Vehicle Extrication Class

June 5th, 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Station #1
Free Training for all Members! - Make Plans to Attend

  • From Fire Chief Charlie Redwine: All members, anyone planning on using our new vehicle extrication equipment MUST be here at WRCVFD Station #1 by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 5th for Res-Q-Tec's vehicle extrication training.
  • This class is important and does have different maneuvers than the TARS course. Everyone is encouraged to attend. This is free training of which we need to take advantage.

Web Site Update in Progress

  • Our web site is being updated for content, security, and maintainability. In addition, it is being made Section 508- and W3C Accessibility-compliant, for better accessibility by the whole community and to ensure the site meets federal guidelines.
  • In order for the web site to remain current, however, our webmaster Charlie Mead needs to be informed in a timely manner of all news, schedules, photos, etc., that should be on the site. Keep that content coming!
  • The initial new structure is complete except for the photo album, which is still under development. After the photo album is complete, we can move on to further expansion of site functionality as needed.
  • Many thanks to our webmaster Charlie Mead for inspiring the volunteers at RoaneTNHistory.org to provide design and development help to better get things moving forward.
