  • Fireworks Sale Article in Roane County News

    June 27, 2007: Our Fireworks Sale was featured in an article in the Roane County News newspaper on Wednesday, June 27. A photo by Charlie Mead of volunteer Anne Sloan next to one of our big fireworks signs accompanied the article. Charlie Mead built the wooden signs and Anne Sloan painted them.

  • Fireworks Sale on WBIR Channel 10 Knoxville 11 PM News

    July 1, 2007: Channel 10 Knoxville carried a story about our fireworks sale on their 10 News Nightbeat program at 11 PM on July 1, 2007. The story featured the WRCVFD emphasis on fireworks safety and showed our free fireworks safety brochure.

  • Fireworks Sale Update

    July 1, 2007: Charlie Mead reports that our WRCVFD 2007 Fireworks Sale is progressing successfully, with about $10,000 in gross sales so far. He is hoping for an increase in sales in the final 3 days of July 2 through July 4. The sale will help WRCVFD reduce debt still owed on one firetruck. Come out and show your support!
