| TARS Vehicle Extrication Course - Classroom portion | 6/4/2010 | 6 PM - 10 PM | WRCVFD Station #1 on Pumphouse Road in Rockwood, TN. This course will train and certify our firefighters in rescuing entrapped victims in vehicle accidents. Our firefighters that take this course will be able to use our specialized tools and equipment: hydraulic cutters, spreaders, rams, and stabilization equipment. Firefighters who use this equipment must be certified and must re-certify every 2 years. This course will be approved by the Tennessee Association of Rescue Squads (TARS). The course is not open to everyone. Contact 354-8201 for more information. |
